finally!!!!

Only taken a month to get some time to update this blog again, sorry about that but life is going hundred miles/hour just now....=)

We are all doing ok Johanna is up to something new every day, Johanna now knows how to turn over and enjoys lying playing on her tummy playing, we have also started to practice sitting up and Johanna loves her Bumbo seat...=)

We have been to see Agnes and the kids for playdates and Johanna loves it, watching big boy Filip and big girl Victoria =)

 Of course Johanna and Daddy supported Sweden when they were playing...=)

We have also celebrated Fathers day, Allan got a coffee maker which he is very proud over and uses every morning, Johanna preferred the wrapping paper...=)

We have had visist from Sweden, Therese, Mats och Linnea' came fro a visit and we went to edinburgh Zoo, it was good fun and the rain only came at teh end of the day.....=)

Our biggest highlight thsi month have been our first visit to the swimming pool, Johanna and Mamma really enjoyed it =)

Will try to be good and do some more updates this week....=)

Johanna 4 months

Johanna is now 4 months old and she has doubled her birthweight, now weighing 5750 gram :-)

Sweden, sickness and burst pip

hello,
we have been rather busy the last few weeks, we had a lovely time in Sweden meeting up with family and friends.

We had a lovely Christening, thanks to all family and friends coming along making it special...=)

Then when we came home, Johanna got an upset tummy and got us practising our nappy changing skills with 10 plus nappies per day. Then of course Mamma caught the bug and then daddy as well...=( but we have all recovered now..."cross my fingers"...and are starting to come back to normal.

Then last night we had a burst pip outside the toilet and looks like the living room might have to get redecorated...have to let it dry out properly and then make the decision...luckily it was the clean water pip that burst...=)

But what would life be without some excitement...=)

Johanna is learning new tricks

Since last time Johanna has started to be awake even more during the day and every day she is showing us somethig new that she has learnt...

Johanna have also worked out that mamma's and pappa's bed is very good to sleep in and you can stretch out leaving no space for them...=)

In our baby sensory class this week we were doing messy play, Johanna loved that sticking her feet and hands in jelly, flour and cooked pasta

This week we will be doing all our packing because in a weeks time we are going, we can't wait...=)

Our girl is 4900g/10lbs 12 oz

Hello,
Now our big girl is 4900 gram or 10lbs and 12oz, she is growing and has started to wear bigger clothes growing out of her small size clothes =)

Johanna is a very happy girl, she always have a smile for everybody..=)

She has now moved into her big cot and she loves it, she sleeps like a starfish using all the space that she has.

Johanna enjoys joining mamma and pappa when they are having their dinner often eyeing up mammas milk...=)

She has also started to grip everything that is close to her hands.


Only 3 weeks until our Sweden trip, can't wait...=)

Johanna 2 months

Hello,
was meaning to put an update up on Tuesday When Johanna was 2 month but only got half way through it before somebody needed my attention.

Johanna 2 months

Our wee girl is doing great during the night goes to sleep by herself and only wakes up once or sometimes twice, this mean she is awake a lot during the day only sleeps if out for a walk, in the car or lying in your arms, which means I get nothing done..=)

Today it is a rare occasion, she has actually gone for a sleep in her pram, which I think will last max 20 min...or maybe less since I now hear her belly going, she can pump for Scotland that girl...=)

We had a lovely Easter, took it easy since Allan was on call but managed to go for a lovely walk round Linlithgow Loch, plant plants in my pots and also get tomato, cucumber, chili and herb plants planted in the greenhouse ( Allan is mega excited, he has even promised to eat everything he is growing...)

Johanna with her Easter present from mamma och pappa, a piano that you kick to make sounds a big hit with Johanna.

 our wee girl is growing quick and she doesn't like to just sit on your knee and look about she prefers standing.

This afternoon we are heading to get Johanna weighed and also get her first jag, think she will be fine not sure about mamma och pappa...=)

Nice Weather

Almost another week gone, our wee lamb (Allan's nickname for Johanna) will be 7 weeks tomorrow. This week it has been glorious weather sunshine and very warm. We have been to the Botanic Garden with Louise and Megan. (Don't know if the lentil curry soup for lunch was a very good idea which we noticed on the Tuesday when me and Allan changed at last 5 dirty nappies between us...=))

Megan is a natural!!! But no ideas now!!

Since the weather has been so good the last few days we or Allan has also been working in the garden, me and Johanna offered any assistance we could,

mostly topping Pappas teacup up =)

We also had a visit from Paul, Radka and Lucy the were all very good at getting Johanna to sleep.

Yesterday Johanna was very alert, awake for most of the day, (I still can't think what I have eaten to keep her so alert =)). Johanna also passed her 6 weeks test by the health visitor, follow an object, turn her head when she hears familiar voices and her mussels are growing really well.

Today Johanna seems more tired so have so far cleaned the house, caught up with paperwork and most importantly eaten my lunch without stressing to much...we will see if I manage the ironing this afternoon...=)

The week passes quickly when you have fun

Hello all,

This week has passed very quickly.
On Thursday I got weighed and was 4120 grams or 9lb 1oz; I'm growing quickly ;-) This means I have went up a nappy size :-)

Mummy made cakes yesterday with her new mixer and it was really good, when the mixer was on i fell asleep (a good sleep tip for Mummy ;-) )   I think the cakes were nice, Daddy liked them anyway.

I have also had visitors this week too.
Gordon and Dillin were visiting on Wednesday and today Sandie and Paul were here; it's really fun to get lots of cuddles :-)

Mothers Day in Scotland

Today, Johanna and Daddy were treating Mummy as it was Mothers day.

Birgitta got her breakfast made for her by Daddy; Johanna got Mummy flowers and a Kenwood food mixer (Johanna obviously knows where Daddys bank card is...  ;-)  ).

We then made our way this afternoon to the Garvock House Hotel for lunch with Granny and Grandad and it was lovely.

First post on Johannas blog

Me and Allan have decided to steal Catrins idea and do a blog so that we can can keep you updated on Johanna. We will update as often as we can, when we get the hang of it...=)

Johanna will be 5 weeks tomorrow and she is getting bigger, creaping closer to 4000g. She is eating like a horse during the day and at the moment sleps well during the night, last night I got 6 hours.

It has been some exciting few weeks and you definatelly learn something new every day.
